Okay, the PLAB-DEVBOX image now has working ntp.

One thing to be careful of - it takes ntpd a while to sync after the node boots. So, for the first 10-15 minutes after the node boots, ntptrace won't work. After that, though, it should.

(This gave me trouble - I thought ntpd wasn't working, when, in fact, I just hadn't given it enough time.)

> Then why would it still take 15 minutes to sync?  Is ntpdate not working?

The time is set correctly - it just seems to take ntpd a while to decide what stratum it's on.
